Happy 2012!

2011 turned out to be amazing in many ways. 

With the arrival of baby Kara in Sep 2010, we continued our journey as new parents, enjoying every moment of her growing up process. 

Key highlights in 2011: 

- New mother & breastfeeding Baby Kara for 1 year! 

- Physical recovery from Pregnancy & Delivery. 

- Much stronger in biking both in terms of climbing & long distance. Completed my first overseas long distance Bali Audax ride in Nov. 

- Running Personal Best @ 55mins for 10Km & 2hr 6 mins for 21Km. But started having slight knee strain due to too strong quads from biking. 

- Started swimming lessons with the motivation to do my 1st Triathlon in 2012! 

- In the work front, I've gained maturity in project management work & was able to picked up new projects on the fly. Travelled to Beijing for business trip in Nov & was aiming for the next promotion.  

For countdown this year, we decided to do something really different. It also marks the significant turn of event where Gerald became a fitness freak. He was the couch potato for years as I faithfully run, gym & bike until July this year when he suddenly became motivated to be fit for Kara & me! 

Hence we wave goodbye to 2011 & run forward to embrace a brand new year with new opportunities and more blessings...

2 Long Months!

Started blogging regularly in 2006 when I was preparing for the wedding. In fact, when I was expecting Baby Kara, the postings were more regular & with the Blogpress app means I could blog on the go & attach precious pictures of Baby Kara's fast growing process.

Unfortunately a busy Nov coupled with my MacBook harddisk full due to the tons of baby Kara's photos,I didn't manage to blog for 2 months! :(

Now it didn't seem possible to catch up in time so I just needed to move forward rather than creating a bigger backlog! Seriously need to get my new MacBook soon...
