Getting ready for CNY

The Dragon year is just around the corner & hence we start stocking up our sinful CNY must-haves!

Gerald faithfully joined the queue for 5 hours for yummilicious ba kwa!

For someone who never believe in queuing for food, I must say this is impressive!

Finally!

After months of struggling with limited HD space & a faulty battery, finally retired my 3 year old white MacBook to the MacBook Pro. Was no doubt a tough decision choosing between pro & the ultra light & sleek looking air.

Nonetheless since I already had the iPad plus I knew I need a big HD for the tons of Baby Kara's photos, the head rules the heart & no regrets!

Managed to get a great deal:
2.4GHz dual core, graded to 8GB & 1TA @ $1830!
With tons of free software including iWork's, photoshop, etc.

My 3rd Mac since I became a convert many years back & it never fails to impress!

Lesson to learn - It's so easy to get rid of a problem & yet at times, we are just so hang up with our thoughts & let the pain manifest... Glad to have made the investment!

We luv spending time with Kara at home. Kara never fails to entertain us! *melts*

Kara luv the home cook soup daddy prepared.

Mummy luv to cook these days & since mummy luv to eat, it's no wonder the extend of effort out into preparing a yummy dish.

Black pepper salmon penne with egg & melted mozzarella cheese :)

Regular Sat Swimming

Our typically healthy Sat program means swimming with Baby Kara in the morning after mummy's bicycle ride followed by lunch at home & nap before her weekly GUG class @4pm.

Kara love the swimming :)

Mummy enjoys cooking for Kara!
Pasta, carrot & pork for lunch.

Private time is impt

Most Fridays, it's a tough decision to either bring Kara along for dinner (but means its usually an early night) or feel guilty when we head out & leave her home alone with Auntie. Yet it's very important to enjoy some time alone w Gerald & enjoy each other's company without the guilt.

So I try to pencil in my calendar Fridays as relax nights!

Today we had a great time out! Dinner at Wild Rocket followed by drinks & snacks @ Wild Oats. 2 thumbs up especially w the good Goupon deal! Does wonders to keeping us connected! :)
