36 weeks aka 9 months

After morning swim, relaxing manicure/pedicure and tim sum lunch at Hua Ting, Jennifer accompanied me to the gynae for checkup.

Was pleasantly surprised that baby is now ~2.5kg (normal size) & estimated 3.1-3.2kg at full term. Yay!
Baby is now engaged i.e. baby has dropped into the pelvis in preparation for birth & could be due earlier (within the next 2 weeks)! Was feeling anxious & lost upon hearing this...

Had dinner with Gerald at Bar & Billard Room (Raffles Hotel) to celebrate our 11th dating anniversary!  Lucky Gerald was there to go through the list of pending to-dos & reassure me that everything would be done in time.

Insomnia.. Nature way of getting ready for childcare

Started having insomnia this week.. I will sleep at 11-12midnight and wake up around 2-3am to pee & thereafter lie in bed semi-conscious, thinking about work!

*horrors* Not that I'm stress at work. In fact, this week I'm slowly handing over 4 of my projects to my maternity cover & 2 projects were recently completed while 1 is at it's tail end.

Found out that feeling awake at the middle of the night between 2-5am is NORMAL.. nature way of getting a preggie ready for childcare! Babies are typically more active at night so our bodies are slowly adjusting to adapt to having to wake up in the middle of the night for feeding! Amazing...

National Day @ MBS

Sis got a suite at MBS over the long weekend so we went to check it out.  It's soooo packed so all 3,651 rooms were taken up & there's even a queue for the lift!
The room was huge & the view was awesome!
The Skypark especially the infinity pool was pretty cool.  Nonetheless, don't think it's worth it to pay $20 just to "tour" the skypark.
It's soooo crowded just like a family carnival.
The only preggie in the pool.  My 3 nephew & niece actually "took care" of me which was really sweet.
Mega cool fireworks in the evening...

Nephew's Bday BBQ

Another round of BBQ today to celebrate Baochuan's bday. After the Taka Baby Fair, we wanted to get a chocolate cake from Bakerzin but chance upon Perla's (same creators behind Restaurant Valentino) & their chocolate hazelnut cream with profiteroles is awesome!
