Shopping Spree

Went to Philip Sale @ Toa Payoh to see if we can get any baby stuffs. The last time we attended their sales was 4 years ago when we were doing up our place.

Ended up with 2 DVD players, 2 digital photo frame, hair dryer, baby food steamer cum blender, baby drink bottle, baby smoother, baby milk powder container & breast pads. *horrors!*

Pretty Feet

Another irresistible buy..

Ways to Chill..

Yummy dark chocolate, tiramisu & walnut favoured gelato from Gusttimo Di Roma on Saturday afternoon... reminds me of Italy!

Weather was sooo hot when we head to Serangoon Garden for lunch.  Ended up in Begawan Solo for the aircon & ordering chendol for the cooling ice.

24 weeks aka 6 months

Only realised today that I'm already in my 24 weeks! Bump is huge now.  In fact, not just tummy but my arms, thighs and even face is soo huge now =( *horrors*

Was thinking of making another short vacation before end June but now it seems sooo impossible with the 3rd trimester just lurking around in another 3 weeks time... Read so much about the downside of 3rd trimester.. swollen legs & feet, backache, insomia, increase discharge & moodswings... Can't help but start to get worried...

Good Old Frens

Had a good time catching up with old Secondary school frens. Though we don't meet regularly, when we do meet, always had a good time chating & laughing away...
WJ got these delicious apple crumble for me.  They tasted great & it's perfect cos I always succumb to chocolate desserts & hardly get to try other desserts.

New & Old Craving

Has been craving for Chris Kway Chup almost every Sunday. Not so much for the intestine or other weird stuffs but for the kway with the thick tasty gravy.
Decided to hang up my road bike so that the study room can officially be converted into the baby's room. Ended up washing my once white & cool bike alongside with Gerald while he washes the car.  Quite a funny sight.

Fish for the Baby

I'm never a fish fan except for the occasional Fish & Co Seafood Platter. Barely order fish for meals & would rank the meats as follows: Chicken, Beef, Pork, Fish, Mutton.

Today we had dinner at Pu Tien & order their steam Soon Hock for the baby.  Cost us a whopping $130+ for the huge dinner.

Craving for Porridge

After curry chicken with bread & chocolate ice-cream at Parkway, I was craving for porridge while waiting for the car to get pumped. Craving was so intense I decided to check if they sell preserve caixin (a typical salty condiment for teo chew porridge).  Yeah they do!

Was thinking of going home to cook porridge though it was already10pm!  Gerald decided to brave the rain to buy me porridge & fish to aid the baby's growth.  Ended up with a huge supper...

Linea Nigra

Extra amount of hormone oestrogen during pregnancy causes changes in skin pigmentation, affecting 90% of all pregnant women.  These colour changes are normal & will usually fade once the baby is born.  Another amazing natural phenomenon.

Another Monday Treat

Arrange to watch movie & have dinner outside to beat the Monday Blues.  Was craving for beef steak again so we head to my favourite Marche.  Love the baked potato, mushroom soup & freshly baked bread!

Passed by Awfully Chocolate & decided to try their Chocolate Truffles.  Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to taste it as we carelessly left it at Marche after dinner. *heartache*
Was craving for tea so we went it search for caffeine free teabags... safe for the baby & keeps the mummy happy. =)

First Baby Wear

Was browsing at Isetan baby section & found this Ralph Lauren baby wear.  Couldn't resist getting it cos it's sooo beautiful! Not for the brand but really for the nice design... our first baby wear.  Hopefully it could fit our baby on the first month bday. =)

Browsing @ Borders

One of my favourite weekend activity is to browse pregnancy books at Borders.
Chance upon this Hot MAMA book & found the following paragraph was soooo funny but true... haha!

No More Monday Blues

After enjoying last Monday's night out, we decided to beat the Monday blues by having dinner outside.  Was craving for beef so we head to Tajimaya @ Vivocity.  The BBQ beef & garlic rice was yummy! Can't wait to go back there again!

Start Shopping after 5 months

Did the 5 months detailed scan yesterday & everything was well  I.e. we could start shopping!
Was really looking forward to buying baby stuffs so we went to Robinsons & Paragon on Sat followed by the Baby Fair at S'pore Expo on Sun.

The shops at Paragon looks so good.  We saw a very nice baby pram (too bad I lost the pics.. arrghh!).
Bought 2 nice bibs & 2 sets of mitten, socks & hat and a temperate check shower duck... haha!

Best buy over the weekend was a beautiful white baby cot from Robinsons.  It look gorgeous & the bedding set from Robinson looks soooo good. Ended up splurging on the 660 threadcount/10cm2 bed linen, bumper, pillow & boolster.

Pre-Natal Yoga

Finally signed up for Pre-Natal yoga today after a trial class last week. Have been searching online for Pre-Natal yoga classes & shortlisted Inspire Mum & Baby, True Yoga, Como Shambhala and Pure Yoga but finally decided on True Yoga because of the class schedule and the fact that they had shower facilities.

Was overall pleased with their service (not too pushy) & pricing.  10 weeks duration for $400 & there's classes on Friday (12.15pm), Saturday (11.30am) & Sunday (12.30pm) so I can choose whichever class to go.  Saturday is the best.  Could have breakfast with Gerald before he drops me off at Pacific Plaza.  After the class, I could slowly shower then browse at That CD Shop & nearby Borders.
