Went to Sim Lim Square today as Gerald wanted to get another external harddisk & HDMI cable.  Managed to get the original iPad cover which is out of stock at all Epi centres.. yippy!

Shopping Spree V

Finally bought the baby stroller & it's a Bugaboo Bee from the First Few Years @ Paragon. Loved the bright yellow canopy cover & the easy to maneuver wheels.

With this purchase, could really feel the arrival of baby soon. =)

Got FOC tickets from my parents so we went.  Can't believe RWS was soo crowded.. plenty of Malaysians!

Benefits of being Preggie

My long awaited bday present is finally here!  Since I've a meeting at Centennial Tower today till 10.15am & I'm on afternoon leave for gynae appointment, I went to Epi Centre @ Suntec City before 11am & there was already a queue!

Was ushered by a sales lady to the end of the queue outside Suntec.  Luckily I was preggie becos within 10 mins, there was a saleman who lead me back to the shop to make the purchase without having to queue!  Men are always nicer to preggie!

Hehe... finally got my hands on a 64GB 3G iPad... Thanks dear!

Monday Night "Treat"

Was craving for fish steamboat tonight so Gerald surfed the net & found this zi char place at Changi which is supposedly very nice.  Ended up it's located at the roof top of an industrial building!

Didn't look too popular but since we were there, I decided to give it a try.
We order the prawn paste chicken wing which was quite nice but thereafter everything went downhill. The fried veg was just ok while the main fish steamboat was sooo bland it tasted like plain water!

Busy Weekend

Met up with the confinement lady this morning followed by visiting the domestic helper agency in the afternoon.  All these errands coupled with the plenty of tips we have been receiving over the weekend made me feel sooo tired & overwhelmed.   Looking forward to just chilling out next weekend..

Ballet Under the Stars

Had lunch at PS Cafe @ Paragon followed by baby gift shopping for J before heading Mt E to visit Daddy.

In the evening, we head to Fort Canning for Ballet Under the Stars.  This is the 2nd year in a row that we can watching it.  Weather was great & even though we only reach at around 7pm, was lucky to find a parking space & a nice spot for picnic. 

Plenty of families bought their children.  Saw 2 ang mo kids dancing around trying to imitate ballet dancers & doing somersets.  Looking forward to bringing Baby there next year. =)

Shopping Spree IV

I'm on 3 days course at Triple-One Somerset this week so decided to take MRT instead of driving. Not too bad, during the morning peak period, there's always someone who offered me their seat. 

After the course, went to Paragon to shop for Baby stuffs.  Petit Bateau was having GSS sales so was glad to get the rompers & hat at a discount.  Was this cute little tux bib & though it'll be perfect for the full month party.

Awesome & Healthy Dinner

Had dinner at WJ's place tonight as she was unwell to head town.  Had awesome yet healthy oven baked salmon with bread and more importantly a great chat.

Hope she'll recover soon & be able to bike, run & swim without any pain. =)

Also rushed home to catch Joyriders on Channel U at 9.30pm.  Really missed biking & can't wait to be back in action... another 3 months to go...

Gift for Baby III

Baby is blessed with gifts from frens.
NJ passed me 5 brand new Philip Avent bottles on Friday which will work perfectly with the stream sterilizer from S. 

We also collected tons of really new stuffs from E&A.  A baby carrier, very cute socks & Havaianas slippers, a big full of pretty clothes, a sleeping system, even an infant car seat & a Philips Avent bottle warmer.. woohoo

Pregnancy changes me

Pregnancy makes me feel warm all the time! So now I prefer home sweet home, spending time with a book while munching fruits or chilling out in the bath tub

Childbirth Education Course

Completed the 5 weeks pre-natal course this week. Learnt lotsa of stuffs though we're likely to be still quite blur at the onset of the baby's arrival.

As we approach the due date (another 2 months to go), can't help but start feeling a bit overwhelm & worried that we have not learn / read up enough... Gerald always reassure me that we'll learn along the way & overcome whatever challenges we face.

Sharon's Housewarming

Went to Sharon's place for house-warming today.  Her place is super white & the baby pink cloud ribbon which I bought initially to decorate the baby's room came in handy to jazz up the house-warming gift for her.

I love mid week treats.. semi buffet at M Hotel

For the baby's sake, I've cut down on sashimi & fresh oysters, converted to medium done steak & chamomile tea.

Being Pampered

Best part of pregnancy is being pampered.. someone to buy food for you at the food court & massage your tired legs at night =)

Birthday Month...

Started early bday celebration 2 weeks in advance with colleagues. Was feeling tired after being busy for months.. ended up taking 2 days leave with KK and we organised an impromptu BBQ before JC leaves for business trip.  Lots of fun buying the BBQ stuff at Carrefour while the rest were still working.  

Ended up we got sooo much food & wasted the bulk of them.  Funny thing was I actually had insomnia due to guilt of wasting so much food... no wonder they say pregnant women tends to have more vivid dreams...

The guys were sooo sweet to get me the sleek looking mobile iphone charger.... IT Geeks.. wahaha!

Catchup with ex-ICA Colleagues.  Dinner followed by japanese dessert at MS with lotsa chatting with W, J & L.  Times really flies, we actually joined ICA 8 years ago as fresh grads!


Had a relaxing & pampering dinner @ Equinox with Chingway.   50% off the bill with Amex card was really worth it.  Indulge in lobster main course followed by chocolate dessert while enjoying the scenery.. two thumbs up!

Took leave on the actual day and started the day with bird nest for breakfast =)

Tummy is getting huge & I'm feeling very much like a penguin..visited the gynae in the morning & baby is now 1.4kg!  Watched Repo Man before having high tea at Marriot Hotel.

Woke up to happy birthday again cos it's my bday weekend.  Went to Marina Bay Sands for more photo-taking..

Shopping @ Ikea & more baby buys...

Was supposed to have dinner with WJ & ended up with a surprise dinner gathering with my ex-cycling kakis.  Dinner at Margaritas was awesome!  Some of them could not join us but was particularly touched to know that they are awaiting my return (to road biking of course!)

Thoughtful gifts.. puts a smile on my face & warmth to the heart.  Indeed I'm blessed =)
