It's finally 3 months!

Yay! Finally crossed the first trimester mark. Luckily I didn't suffer from morning sickness throughout the 3 months. Only felt nausea once in a while & was hungry all the time which suit me pretty well. :)

Ended up with the pregnancy bump even before 3 months is up!

Looking forward to the baby

Bought our first baby poster on Sat. It's now in our bedroom, one of the first thing we'll see when we wake up in the morning... Makes us look forward to the arrival of the baby!

Was craving for crab for over a week so we head to No Signboard at East Coast Park. My fav place for seafood! Had a long stroll attempting to walk home but eventually succumb...

Pregnancy Treat

Rested at home the whole of yesterday as I was down w flu & sore throat. Didn't take any flu medicine as I was worried it might affect the baby.



Felt much better today so we head to 313 @ Somerset for shopping & lunch. Ended up having yummy curry fish head at Muthu's Flavour! Haha.. Gerald
forgot I was having sore throat when I suggested eating it... Yum yum!

Emotional Workout

I've resumed biweekly early AM jog with WJ since last week. Instead of jogging our usual 5km to ECP & back, we either light jog or brisk walk 4km. Nonetheless it's still very enjoyable as we spend about an hour chatting & catching up on the happenings in each other's life.

It's definitely more than a physical workout. Through the open sharing, emotionally we're fulfilled too despite sacrificing 1 hour of beauty sleep.

WJ's such an angel. Always so ready to listen to my pregnancy experience & it's sooo comforting as she took the effort to validate my feelings & thoughts.

Received these from WJ this morning when we met again for brisk walk. 2 mandarin oranges for CNY, a nail polish in my fav shade and a Mother & Baby magazine.. Felt so loved & touched!

Deluxe BIG Breakfast

We strolled from home to ECP MacDonalds for the new deluxe big breakfast. I finished the hashbrown, scrambled egg, meat patty, 1 pancake, 1 muffin & ice Milo all on my own!

I ain't fat, I'm just Pregnant

Aiyo, for 2 days in a row, relatives commented that I'm bigger size now & asked if I was pregnant. Have to find a hole to hide.

I'm 11 weeks now & tummy is already sooo obvious.. Waistline is now 33"! *horrors* Dressing up in the morning is such a challenge & FAT is one of my most-commonly-used word

Gift for Baby II

With Love

Went to the bike shop today with 4 cycling frens to build Waijia's bike.  Everyone is sooo happy that her bike is taking shape now.

Could feel Waijia's love.. Yummy & more healthy chiffon cakes from her.


She's really encouraging! Accompanied me twice a week for a very light workout before work while we chit chat about the baby & her aspiration for the future.  She also took efforts to surf the net for recipes for pregnant women & tips for pregnancy / baby care.

Losing my Tastebud

Had dinner at Soup Spoon before doing Facial at Passage. Finished the whole bowl of clam chowder but realised I couldn't taste anything much.


Been having very good appetite for the past 4 weeks. Hopefully my tastebud improves soon...

Shopping for Ideas II

We went to MotherCare at Habourfront & was impressed by their wide selection of baby strollers, baby car seat & prams.  Absolutely love this little baby carrier... so pretty but impractical...






I'm looking forward to buying a very nice white baby cot.  This one is on my shortlist.

After the gynae appointment, we head to Vivocity for lunch & dessert at the newly opened Max Brenner. My favourite chocolate soufflé.

Went to New Majestic Hotel for Adrian's Surprise Birthday.

Aiyo, I'm looking soooo huge now, the group of friends guessed that I was pregnant & asked me on the spot!

Baby is growing well :)

Decided to bring forward our 2nd appointment with the gynae from next Wed to this Friday.


Was pleasently surprised when doc says baby is now 9weeks 3days, +/- 5days & EDD is brought forward to 7 Sep 2010. Baby is 26.2mm now. Woohoo :)

Sharing the News II

Last week, I was surprised when 2 colleagues from MBFSS came up to me & asked me if I was pregnant. They could tell from my growing waistline & my switch from high heels to flat pumps. OMG!

Started to tell friends & colleagues about the News last week & this week. Felt so much better to be able to share the news with friends. Was very touched by some of their responses & blessings for us.

Told my direct boss about it on Tue & his reply was.. "Congrats but thought most people would not announce it before the end of 1st trimester" *horrors*
