Relaxing at home

Last day in office today (for year 2010!) & will be "working from home" until maternity leave starts when baby is delivered.

Our swimming pool is still under upgrading so I "chill out" in the bathtub instead. Cool & relaxing...

I'll miss being pregnant..

Can't believe I'm saying this BUT I'm going to miss being preggie! Even at 38 weeks, there's nil major discomfort so I'm hoping Baby will cooperate & not come early so that mummy has more time to relax & enjoy the next 2 weeks.

No doubt I'm huge (~40", ~ 70kg) now & looking like a whale/penguin/potato... But there are definitely advantages of being pregnant.  First of all, I love the baby-kicking-inside-the-womb feeling.

Been eating myself crazy lately, especially food that I've to avoid during the 1 month confinement.  This is a great time to indulge.
Hubby is hardworking & definitely more accommodating to my needs.
Will definitely missing the freedom & our 2-person only dates.

Movies in the Park

Enjoyed GI Joe @ Class 95 Movies in the Park with Gerald today
Its FOC & what's more, we won a Class 95 T-Shirt & a manicure package as prizes! Woohooo..

Busy Weekend

Awesome hot chocolate @ Cedele for breakfast...
Another busy weekend as we source around for the perfect cabinet for the baby room.  Found this pretty one at "I Wanna Go Home" at a steal ($169!) but the display is the last piece but it was far from being brand new. =(
Decided to check out Mothercare @ Paragon & found this which also comes in white.  Looks good & the quality is much better but it's expensive ($720 minus 10%) with the Mothercare membership.
Finally found this perfect one (also available in white) at the First Few Years (the same place we got our stroller).  It comes with a changing mat & the top opens up to a hidden bath tub inside. Real cool!
Finally decided on the armchair for breast feeding.   Looking forward to the delivery on Thurs!

One of my recent craving, Laksa from Orchard Ion..

Nesting Instinct Kicks in

My German boss was very kind to offer that I can work from home rather than spend time & effort traveling back & fro. Hence I jumped on the opportunity & decided to stay at home on Thur & Fri. Gerald on the other hand was real busy & working late this week so I had plenty of free time after work.

It's a pity our pool was closed for maintenance for the next 2 weeks. Arrghh! Went to swim at at Conrad Hotel after work on Wed followed by shopping at Carrefour for my stay-at-home lunch on Thur & Fri. Realized it's tough without Gerald around to help. The Carrefour trolley was so huge I couldn't reach my purchases & had to tip toe!

Nesting instinct kicked in & I was constantly reorganizing the baby room. Finally put the freshly washed fitted sheet into the cot mattress and still needed Gerald to complete the fixing of the cot mobile.

The winnie the pooh cot mobile looks awesome!
