Backdated Post: 1st School Excursion

4th day of starting school for Kara & we're going for her 1st school excursion! LW brings the kids for excursion monthly & playgroup class has to be parent-accompanied for Mummy took the day off to bring our precious little one to the animal farm.

Kara's pigeon hole in class is customerised with her name & photo taken at the school playground. =)

 Off we go via the school bus & here's Kara happily posing for photo while munching her breakfast.

 So many kids all arriving at the Pasir Ris Animal Farm.

 1st activity = Fishing! Every kid is given a little pail & a small little fish net to catch mini guppies. Kara never fails to amaze me!  She could balance so well & fish by the pond independently.

 She's also not afraid & could reach out her hand to touch the koi.  There were so many koi even I would hesitate to put in my hand but she did it immediately as the teachers prompted them to feel the koi.

 So tired at the end of the excursion Kara was fast asleep within 5 mins while on the way home.

Backdated Post: Kara Start School @ 18 Months

Our baby Kara is heading School @ 18 months!

 We reached school early at 8.15am & Kara starts off with cheese & crackers for breakfast.

Kara with her 2 new classmates.  We were so impressed her classmates would throw the left overs in the trash bin before returning the used plates at the collection area. =)

 It's amazing how independent Baby Kara is! She could take the school bus alone to & fro school without problem. We are so proud of our precious!! =)

Passport Photo

Daddy helped Kara took her 1st passport photo today @ venue = common bathroom due to the white background requirement.  Poor Kara happened to have a zit on her left cheek.

Backdated Post: Mummy on Biz Trip

Since I'm supporting the Malaysia new setup project, this shall be the 1st trip of many more trips to KL this year. Gerald happened to be on biz trip @ HK/Shenzhen too & I'm flying off the day he's flying back home!

Short 45mins SQ flight followed by 30mins fast train transfer to KL Sentral & 10mins cab drive to the Gardens Hotel was pretty easy & hassle free.  Was supposed to stay at Hilton Hotel but it was full.  Nonetheless the Gardens Hotel was a pleasant surprise =) It's new, not too crowded & more importantly, right next to the Gardens Mall & linked to Midvalley mega mall!

 Usually I love hotel breakfast.  The spread is great but it's never that same as hotel breakfast during a vacation with your love ones!

Our office @ Menara TM is just opposite the Gardens Hotel, separated by a flyover.

 
Work ends early by 6pm & the shops open till 10pm so it's shopping every night followed by late dinner & drinks with a colleague.  KL is surprisingly nice to shop! Shops are big & branded stores are so empty! I hardly shop in Singapore these days so having some time to shop while on business travel is just nice.

 So happy to find borders - some nice books & clothes from Mothercare that were on sale without the crowd (so unlike Sg!).

 Got some nice clothes for Kara just in time for our upcoming HK holiday.

When I'm on business trip, Gerald will send me pictures of Kara via Whatsapp & these pictures never fail to melt my heart! =)

 Finally back in Sg & it's great to be home!!! =)
