Baby Kara appears cranky today. Despite finishing 120ml for each feed, she appeared unsettled & cries for more milk. It started after her morning bathe & breakfast all the way till Zzzzing time. Oh man, it sure was tiring!
Turned out she was undergoing growth spurt which commonly happened during 3rd week, 6th week, 3 months, 6 months & so on. A typical growth spurt would last between 3 days till up to a week! Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't drag for a week. The thought of it sends shivers down the spine! I recalled she had a day of growth spurt during 3rd week. Hoping it will be the case this time round.
Told Gerald about it when he returned home & he wasn't convinced as Baby Kara was sleeping soundly. Shortly after dinner, she started acting up & finally he realized how tiring it was to tend to her. We both agreed it's tough being a stay-at-home-mum (SAHM).
Thankful that we have a stay-in helper. At least we don't have to worry about cleaning the house & washing the laundry, washing the milk bottles & there's someone to help change diapers when we are both tired.
